The Kyosho Fazer d2 Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 is a purpose-built 1/10 scale rear-wheel-drive (RWD) drift car designed for both high-level aesthetics and accessible performance. As my personal go-to platform, this chassis has been instrumental in my journey of learning the art of RC drifting, providing a stable yet responsive base that rewards progress.

The Kyosho Fazer D2 Toyota 86 GT Tuned is a precision-engineered 1/10 scale rear-wheel-drive (RWD) drift machine that pairs modern, aggressive styling with the same reliable core on the AE86. This model is just as capable as the AE86, offering a stable and rewarding learning experience for those refining the art of RC drifting.

The Kyosho Fazer D2 Toyota Tundra body represents the aggressive, modern side of the Fazer D2 drift lineup, featuring an ultra-realistic 2021 Tundra TRD Pro design with custom wide overfenders and a bed-mounted roll cage. Like the AE86 I have been learning on, this truck utilizes the purpose-built FZ02L-RWD chassis but offers a unique advantage with the longest wheelbase at 274mm. This offers a bit more control.

The Yokomo RD2.0 "Rookie Drift" 1/10 RWD RTR Electric Drift Car is one of the absolute best starting platforms in RC drifting. Built by Yokomo—the pioneer of modern RC drifting—this fully assembled, Ready-To-Run package includes a highly detailed, pre-painted Grey PANDEM GR86 body, drift-specific tires, and a pre-configured steering gyro. It offers the perfect out-of-the-box experience while giving you an elite, competition-ready chassis that can evolve as your skills grow. This is the Next Platform I plan to Purchase if the Project on the AE86 fails.
